Membership Registration for Members Only Section of Website

Agreement
Once you sign up, you will receive a member ID (User name) and will be able to:

  1. log in to the Rama First Nation Members Only Section of the website.
  2. view and download material stored in the Members Only section.
  3. Your ID (User name) will be sent to you by e-mail after the registration.

Chapter 1: General Rules

Section 1: Membership Agreement

Rama First Nation members (hereafter called "the member") agree that this agreement applies to all aspects of member use of the Rama First Nation Members Only Section of the Rama First Nation Website.

Section 2: Extent of Membership Agreement

  1. Rama First Nation Lands/Membership Personnel will confirm that the member is a registered member of Rama First Nation prior to access being granted to the Members Only Section of the Rama First Nation website.
  2. Rama First Nation members are provided access to the Members Only section with the understanding that material provided is confidential and should not be shared or distributed in any manner.
  3. Members agree that rules directed at them and published on Rama First Nation website from time to time constitute a part of this agreement.
  4. Members agree that terms and conditions with respect to information and services provided on the Rama First Nation website constitute a part of this agreement as well.
  5. Members agree to keep their password information confidential

Section 3: Amendments to This Agreement
Members agree that the webmaster may amend this agreement at any time without prior approval of the members.

Chapter 2: Membership

  1. A member is a registered member of Rama First Nation who has applied for access to the Members Only section and whose membership has been admitted by the webmaster.
  2. The member has agreed to this Membership Agreement when he/she becomes an authorized member.

Section 6: Admission Procedure
The webmaster accepts applications for membership admits qualified applicants to membership after appropriate examination and procedures. Information updates will be required from time to time as prompted on entry to the Members Only section.

Section 7: Denial and Cancellation of Membership
 After the examinations mentioned above, the webmaster may deem an application unacceptable when the applicant appears to fall under any of the following categories:

  1. Applicant applied under an anonymous or pseudonymous name.
  2. Applicant reports false or erroneous information or does not report required information in the application form.
  3. Applicant does not undertake required procedures during the application as the webmaster prescribes.
  4. Applicant whose admission is considered to be inappropriate by the webmaster in some other way.
  5. Applicant breaches any terms of Registration Agreement
  6. The webmaster may cancel membership if the member proves to fall under any of the above categories even after membership has been granted.
  7. Applicants who misuse or divulge information posted on the Members Only website.

Section 8: Individual Information on Members
Information, including but not limited to, the member's e-mail address, which is necessary for accessing the Rama First Nation website Members Only section, is recorded as individual information in the Rama First Nation Administration  database and will only be used for those purposes unless otherwise authorized by members in this agreement.

Chapter 3: Terms and Conditions on Use
1. The webmaster may temporarily halt access to the Rama First Nation members without prior notice to members if necessary to do so due to operating or technical problems.
2. The webmaster will not accept responsibility for any damage suffered by a member as a result of delay or halt of Rama First Nation web services incurred with reasons other than those mentioned in the preceding article.

Section 14: Notification of Change
1. It is the member’s sole responsibility to provide changes relative to an e-mail address or any other information provided on the membership application.  The member is requested to notify the webmaster immediately by emailing webmaster@ramafirstnation.ca.
2. If a member suffers disadvantage by failing to submit the notification mentioned in the preceding section, the webmaster or Rama First Nation will not accept any responsibility.

Section 15: Membership Termination
The webmaster may reserve the right to terminate, suspend, or cancel membership without prior notice or advisory if any one of the following occurs:

  1. A false application is filed.
  2. Recorded information is falsified.
  3. A password is used illicitly.
  4. Violation of any of the provisions of this document.
  5. Applicants misuse or divulge information posted on the Members Only website.

Section 16: Membership Cancellation
If a member cancels his/her membership in the Members Only section, the member will notify the webmaster by emailing webmaster@ramafirstnation.ca .

Section 17: Discontinuance of the Rama First Nation Members Only Section
1. The webmaster may discontinue access to the Members Only section without notice.
2. Rama First Nation will not accept claims from members or any other third party related to the discontinuance of the Rama First Nation website as in accordance with the procedure mentioned in the preceding section.
